Diagnostic study of the plantar footprint in first class wrestlers
Main Article Content
Abstract
The current research starts from the diagnostic study of wrestler’s footprints. An exploratory diagnostic was applied to first-class wrestler’s training sessions in Holguín province, resulting in the detection of alterations in athlete’s footprints. The study to detect prevailing orthopedic deformities on first-class wrestler’s footprints was performed from October to May, 2016. Various scientific methods were applied; in the theoretical order Historical-Logical, Analysis-Synthesis and Induction-Deduction were used; in the empirical order structured observation, Interviews, Surveysand the direct measuring of athletes´ footprints were applied; and Mathematical-Statistical methods like the distribution of absolute and relative frequency and the percentage calculation were used as well. Gathered results show that athlete’s footprints classification varies after training sessions and the degree of deformity in both feet is increased due to the strength exerted during technical execution. Thus, bringing about a variation of the support function and a deformation of the foot.
